Internet Safety Talk Dates: April – August 2008.

Back in October 2007, I set myself the challenge of being able to train 1000 adults in Internet Safety and Responsible Use within one year. In particular I was very keen to target parents and families.

Between now and the summer I will be running workshops in the following locations. If you would like to attend any of my workshops then please feel free to get in touch – anyone is welcome, I only ask that you let me know that you are coming in advance.

I will also shortly be announcing dates for two CEOP Think You Know Trainer events, which will occur before the summer. Attendance and successful completion of this course allows you to access some of the CEOP training materials and deliver the Think You Know Programme within Schools. As a pre-requisite for this course you will have needed to have attended one of my Internet Safety and Responsible Use Training Sessions.

• Tuesday 29^th April 2008 – Ormiston Primary School, East Lothian, 18.30h – 20.30h.
• Thursday 15^th May 2008 – Liberton High School, Edinburgh, 19.00 – 20.30h (note change of date!)
• Tuesday 3^rd June – Preston Lodge High School, East Lothian, 19.00h – 21.00h.
• Wednesday 4^th June – Knox Academy, East Lothian, 19.00h – 21.00h.
• Tuesday 10^th June 2008 – Ross High School, East Lothian, 19.00h – 21.00h.
• Wednesday 11^th June 2008 – Dunbar Grammar School, East Lothian, 19.00h – 21.00h.
• Tuesday 24^th June 2008 – North Berwick High School, East Lothian, 19.00h – 21.00h.
