The Commoncraft Show – Online photo sharing in plain English
I love the Commoncraft shows. They are really
creative and make complicated web 2.0 topics simple to understand. The latest Commoncaft show is on
online photo sharing. The video specifically uses Flickr as an example and also has an
excellent description of tagging.

They're certainly creative and explain the topics well but I find them really excruciating to watch because of his voice - I still haven't managed to watch the one on RSS all the way through because if it - I may be alone in this but something about him just grates with me.
What if pupils could recreate a similar video themselves...

Hi Stuart - good to hear from you. I like your idea about students making their own versions. I agree the accent is a little annoying, but I still think the concept is great. Hope to see you soon. OB

Thanks, Ollie, a timely item as far as I am concerned as I want to develop my use of Flickr this year, eg to create an online virtual gallert of pupil work that members of our school community can view.
PS I'd like to read your SQH essay,if at all poss. Well donel so far, so good!
